A "CRASH" on the A127 near Rayleigh Weir has caused "severe delays" this morning (February 7), as queues are backed up to Southend.
Southend Arterial Road is reportedly closed London-bound from St Michael's Road to just past Rayleigh Weir.
Traffic is busy in both directions following an incident between Progress Road and Rayleigh Weir. There is heavy congestion through Hadleigh, Leigh, and Chalkwell as drivers reportedly avoid the closure.
There are long delays and queueing traffic between A1245/Fairglen Interchange and B1013/Nestuda Way at the Tesco roundabout. There is more congestion on the A1015 through Rayleigh, with slight queues both ways on the A129 through Thundersley.
