PASSENGERS on c2c this morning are facing delays and stations are being skipped due to "damage" on the route.

The rail operator has warned damage to overhead electrical wires is affecting its services. Trains are being delayed at Limehouse and Fenchurch Street stations.

Some trains will skip Laindon, Upminster, Ockendon and Chafford Hundred.

A c2c spokesman said: "We are sorry to inform that there are some delays on our services damage to the overhead electric wires earlier. To check your journey, please use our Journey Checks page.

"Apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused."

  • The 8.03am from Laindon to London Fenchurch Street, due at 8.38am, will be started from West Horndon. It will no longer call at Laindon.
  • The 7.40am from London Fenchurch Street to Pitsea due at 8.39am, has been delayed at London Fenchurch Street and is now seven minutes late.
  • The 7.37 from London Fenchurch Street to Grays due at 8.10am, has been delayed at Limehouse and is now six minutes late.
  • The 7.35am from London Fenchurch Street to Shoebury due at 8.39am has been delayed previously and is now six minutes late from Limehouse.
  • The 7.32am from London Fenchurch Street to Pitsea due at 8.27am has been delayed at London Fenchurch Street and is now seven minutes late.
  • The 7.26am from London Fenchurch Street to Laindon due at 7.55am will be terminated at West Horndon. It will no longer call at Laindon. It has been delayed at Limehouse and is now six minutes late.
  • The 7.20am from London Fenchurch Street to Shoebury due at 8.23 has been delayed at Limehouse and is now three minutes late.
  • The 7.40am from London Fenchurch Street to Pitsea due at 8.39am will no longer call at Upminster, Ockendon and Chafford Hundred. It has been delayed at London Fenchurch Street and is now seven minutes late.
  • The 8.03am from Laindon to London Fenchurch Street due 08:38 will be started from West Horndon.
