THE URGENT closure of a south Essex road has continued for a second day, as flooding causes havoc for motorists.
Watery Lane in Hullbridge was closed off to drivers yesterday evening, after it flooded.
This comes amid a yellow Met Office weather warning for rain, which lasted until 6am this morning.

The road is currently closed in both directions from Hullbridge Road to Beeches Road.
