DRUG dealer who sold drugs out of a flat belonging to two addicts has been jailed after police raided the home.

Anthony Sibanda, 23, sold drugs out of a flat above a shop in Hart Road, Thundersley, belonging to his two co-defendants Elisa Piper and Danny Williams.

Piper, 42, of Hill Road, Benfleet and Williams, 50, Hart Road, allowed the home to be used as a “base of operations” in exchange for free drugs.

They were charged with being the occupiers of a premises in which the supply of Class A drugs took place.

The pair were both sentenced to eight months in prison in Basildon Crown Court on January 5 but were released immediately due to time served.

Yesterday, Sibanda was jailed for two years and seven months.

Police arrested Sibanda on August 24 last year and executed a warrant at the flat in Hart Road.

Upon searching the address, officers saw Piper throw a package containing drugs out of the window which landed on the streets in front of the flat.

Both Fisher and Williams were at the flat as well as a mobile phone which housed the “Franklin” drug line run by Sibanda along with £310 in cash and more phones.

The phones showed evidence that there was contact between the defendants and Sibanda including between their respective arrests.

Timothy Sleigh-Johnson, prosecuting, said: “Contact between the Fisher, Williams and Sibanda concerned them appearing to find out what happened to him.

“There was also contact before their arrests indicating their involvement.”

Sibanda appeared in Basildon Crown Court on Monday, February 12 for sentencing, charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

The defendant sold crack cocaine and heroin.

Her Honour Judge Samantha Cohen oversaw the hearing.

She previously addressed Piper and Fisher for their involvement with Sibanda.

Judge Cohen said: “You are both drug users and allowed your co-defendant to use your flat as a base for his Class A drugs operation.

“You knew what he was doing because he was paying you in drugs which you both craved as users.”

Sibanda, of Little Roke Road, Kenley, Greater London was sentenced to two years and seven months in prison.
