TWO yellow weather warnings have been issued for south Essex tomorrow as heavy rain and strong winds are set to hit the county.

The Met Office has issued a heavy rain warning, in place across the county from 5am until 5pm tomorrow. A wind warning is also in place from 8am until 6pm.

The weather experts warn residents to expect potential power cuts and loss of other services, a small chance of flooding, delays or cancellations to train and bus services, damage to buildings from strong winds, and potential road and bridge closures.

Forecasters have also warned of the risk of injuries and danger to life from flying debris or large waves and beach material being thrown onto seafronts.
