A PREMISES which is home to a popular bar and two flats near Southend's city centre, has been put up for sale.

The premises, in Alexandra Street, Southend, where Infinity Bar is located, has been listed on the market as a mixed-use commercial investment for £470,000.

Comprising of a bar on the ground floor and two, two-bedroom flats above, the building is up for sale but not the business.

Updated: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the business is up for sale. This was incorrect and we apologise for the error and any confusion.

Dedman Gray say “this makes it an attractive investment for those seeking both commercial and residential revenue streams”.

Infinity Bar is “fun and friendly bar” offering free live entertainment, special guests and events throughout the whole year.

On the Dedman Gray website, it states it is "occupied by virtue of a six-year lease commencing March 11, 2020", at a passing rent of £19,200 per annum.

Flat 20a is let on an AST with passing rent on £14,400 per annum.

Flat 20b is let on a rolling contract at a passing rent of £10,800 per annum.

Infinity Bar first opened back in July 2020, but it was faced with a number of restrictions when first running as a business due to the pandemic.

According to its social media, it was then forced to shut for a six-month period in November 2020 as another national lockdown was announced.

It is now open four days a week between Thursday and Sunday.
