POLICE have launched an appeal for information following a four-vehicle crash on the A127 London-bound which has caused queues to Basildon this morning.
Part of the A127 Southend Arterial Road has been blocked following the crash.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a collision involving four vehicles on the A127 near Little Warley at around 7.50 am today.
"The incident is ongoing and the road is closed.
"Please avoid the area if you can, we appreciate your understand and patience.
"If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
"Please quote incident 184 of 4 March."
