A MAJOR south Essex road is partially blocked during this evening rush hour amid reports of an "obstruction in the road".
The A127 is partially blocked Southend-bound with slow traffic "due to an obstruction on the road", according to Essex County Council's traffic control.

It is blocked at Dunton junction.
There are reports of delays between Little Warley Hall Lane and High Road North (Fortune Of War), with an average speed of 20mph.
