Police have issued an appeal after a man was left with "life-changing brain injuries" after being punched outside a Basildon pub.
Officers are appealing for the public's help in identifying a man in connection with the assault, that took place in Wash Road, outside the Noak Bridge Pub, shortly after midnight on January 27.
The victim was punched in the head causing him to fall, he has sustained life-changing brain injuries.
The suspect left the scene in a silver Volkswagen Touareg.
Essex Police have released an image of a man who they would like to speak with in connection with this investigation.
