POLICE have launched an investigation after reports of a brawl breaking out inside a corner shop before spilling onto the street.
Officers were called to reports of a group of men fighting in the Spar convenience store in Whitmore Way, Basildon yesterday.
The fight then reportedly moved outside the shop before the suspects fled the scene at about 4.20pm.

Shocked residents took to social media to report a "knife" had been involved in the fight, however Essex Police confirmed a weapon has not been connected to the incident at this stage.
A spokesman for the force said: "We were called to reports of a fight in Whitmore Way at about 4.15pm on Thursday April 4.
"Witnesses reported seeing three men fighting in a Spar shop in the road.
"The fight then moved outside the shop and the suspects involved left the scene at about 4.20pm.
"Our enquiries are ongoing."
