A LEGENDARY singer is bringing her show to Southend.
Dionne Warwick's “Don’t make me over” show will be put on at the Cliffs Pavilion on May 19.
Dionne will be joined on stage by interviewer Dave Wooley who directed and wrote the award-winning Don’t Make Me Over documentary, her band plus a multimedia set-up with LED screen.
Taking excerpts from the documentary, Dave will interview and guide Dionne while she recalls her life in her words.
Supported by documentary footage and contributions from the likes of President Bill Clinton, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Barry Gibb and many more.
The evening will be interspersed with live performances of her many hits and acknowledgement of an unimpeachable catalogue of music.
Six-time Grammy award winner Dionne said: “I’m so thrilled to be coming back to the UK and bringing a brand-new show to my fans.
“I’ll be sharing stories and personal anecdotes from my life along with footage from my recent documentary, ‘Don’t Make Me Over.’ And of course, I’ll be singing some of my favourite songs from my career.”
Tickets are on sale, available online at Ticketmaster or at trafalgartickets.com.
