Commuters are facing the lingering effects of industrial action this morning - with c2c running an altered timetable and Greater Anglia warning of delays due to an overtime ban.
Yesterday's strike by the Aslef rail union, currently embroiled in a pay dispute with rail bosses, saw all c2c services cancelled and hourly services running between Southend and London Liverpool Street.
Disruption has persisted this morning, with c2c running a "reduced service" this morning, however first and last services are unaffected.
This is expected to last until tomorrow.
Speaking on the strikes, Rob Mullen, c2c Managing Director, said: “I’m really disappointed that an agreement with Aslef hasn’t been reached.
"The impact of this ongoing action is significant for our customers and colleagues. I’m hopeful that further meetings with the unions are productive and see progress made toward concluding this challenging time for the railway.”
