The current licence allows the gentleman's club to stay open from 12pm to 2.30am Sunday to Thursday, and 12pm to 4am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Now the venue wants to provide its licensable activities until 3am Sunday to Thursday, and until 5am on on Fridays and Saturdays.
Representations in relation to the bid must be sent to Southend Council by May 3.
If any objections are raised and not resolved, the licensing sub committee will decide whether to grant the application.
Gentlemen's clubs are different to strip clubs as they aim to provide a more polished and upscale atmosphere, typically with stricter dress codes.
