A BIKER has been left seriously injured after a crash with a car on a major south Essex road.
Police were called to the A127 London-bound, by Rayleigh Weir, after a crash involving a motorbike and a car just before 5.30pm yesterday evening.
Traffic had been held on the busy road with delays in both directions.
The motorcyclist's injuries are serious, but not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with any information any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, to come forward.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online live cat service available Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays -between 10am and 9pm.
"Please quote incident 0862 of 10 April."
