A GANG tried to pull a victim off his moped in a robbery attempt outside a Canvey shopping centre.
The victim was riding his moped on Furtherwick Road, outside the Knightswick Centre, when he was approached by the four suspects.
One of the suspects was riding a black moped.
It was reported the gang tried to pull the victim off his moped but were unsuccessful.

One of the suspects is described as being a white male, aged around 30 years with a brown beard, brown curly hair, wearing a white vest.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward after the incident on Sunday, March 31, at around 11.20pm.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "If you have any information or can provide dash cam or CCTV footage, please contact PC 80547 Brown by clicking on the link below, quoting investigation reference 42/53049/24."
