DOZENS of goats are helping wildflowers bloom in Basildon, according to the council.
Basildon Council say they have 57 Cheviot goats at Wat Tyler Heights, in Pitsea.
Bosses believe they are helping wildflowers bloom after munching away at scrub for the last few months.
A spokesman for Basildon Council adds: “At Wat Tyler Heights, the herd have been munching away at scrub for the last few months.
“They are allowing our wildflowers to grow, which creates habitats and a food source for our pollinators, mammals, and reptiles – and creates a beautiful landscape to explore.
“Together we are making a difference to tackle climate change.”
