DRIVERS are facing long delays on the A127 near Basildon after an earlier crash.
Traffic is already heavy on the A127 Londonbound from the junction with the M25 and all the way back to Basildon.
AA Traffic News say they believe the delays could be due to two reasons.
They believe more drivers are using the A127 after an earlier crash on the A13 and M25 at Junction 30, where a roundabout is partly closed.
Also, there is a lane closure due to long-term construction on the M25 anti-clockwise at J28.
AA Traffic News added: "Traffic is heavier than normal on A127 London bound from B148 West Mayne (Dunton Junction) to M25 J29 (Romford / Basildon).
"Severe delays of 13 minutes on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound between High Road (Fortune Of War) and M25 J29 (Romford / Basildon).
"Average speed 15 mph."
