Drivers are facing "severe" delays into Essex as a crash has closed two lanes near the Dartford Crossing.
Two lanes - of four - have been closed on the the A282 southbound between the A206 and A296/A225 near Dartford due to a crash involving a van.
There are delays of 90 minutes and about 8 miles of congestion on approach back into Essex.
AA reports there are "severe" delays of 29 minutes on the M25 clockwise between junction 29, for the A127, and A282.
An average speed of ten miles per hour are being reported.
Essex County Council's traffic control has described traffic this evening rush hour as "very heavy".
