One of the country's top stand-up comedians renowned for his dark brand of comedy will bring his tour to Southend.

Jimmy Carr will bring his trademark edgy one-liners, to the Cliffs Pavilion for his new show 'Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny'.

The show, announced for Friday, January 24, promises 90 minutes of Carr's distinct risqué style of comedy, jam-packed with edgy one liners and razor-sharp quips.

Those repelled by the stand-up's classic style of performing are warned to steer clear.

Tickets can be booked for £40.50, with demand expected to be high.

Customers are limited to purchasing eight tickets each, while the show has a 16+ age restriction.

Showtimes are at 7pm and 9.45pm.
