Two crafty seven-year-old girls from Rayleigh launched a loom band business from their front drive.
Despite making few sales during their first five-hour stint last Saturday, the youngsters didn't lose heart and produced more stock for the following day.
Promoted on a Facebook page for the area, their endeavour gained attention, and by Sunday, they attracted a much larger crowd.
This included the chairman of Rayleigh Town Council Danielle Belton, who made a purchase.
Encouraged by this, the children are now eager to expand their enterprise.
Their parents said: "This is something that the two girls have come up with totally off their own backs."
