Drivers are facing "severe delays" on the A127 this evening rush hour after reports of a crash.
Long delays are building back to Nevendon on the major road after reports of an incident at Daws Heath Road.
AA is reporting "severe delays" of 24 minutes which are increasing on Southend-bound between the A132 East Mayne and Rayleigh Downs Road.

It is reporting an average speed of ten miles per hour.
There are also delays increasing on the London-bound side of the A127 between Prince Avenue and St Michaels Road, also with an average speed reported of ten miles per hour.
