POLICE officers rushed to Southend High Street on Friday night after reports of a group fighting.
Essex Police say there were called to reports of a disturbance in Southend High Street, shortly before 7:30pm on Friday.
It was reported a group of individuals were engaged in a fight.
Officers were on the scene within minutes and made two arrests. Both have since been released to face no further action.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance in Southend High Street shortly before 7.30pm on Friday 24 May.
“It was reported a group of individuals were engaged in a fight.
“Officers were on scene within two minutes, making two arrests on suspicion of affray and engaging with the public in the area.
“Two men were taken on to custody for further questioning and have since been released to face no further action.”
