A MAN has been charged for a drug offence after police spotted a male "acting suspiciously".
The 34-year-old male has been charged for possession with intent to supply class b- cannabis.
Essex Police say officers from the Basildon team were on patrol when they spotted a male "acting suspiciously".
The force detain him, and a search located "several bags of cannabis".
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Officers from Basildon Community Policing Team were on patrol near Hannakins Farm, Billericay, when they spotted a male acting suspiciously.
"They were able to detain him and a search located two phones and several bags of cannabis on him.
"Further searches of the males address revealed more cannabis and a significant amount of money.
"The 34 year old male has been charged for possession with intent to supply class b- cannabis."
