A large emergency service presence has been spotted on a road in Basildon.
Photos show several ambulances, fire engines, and specialist vehicles outside homes in Polsteads, Basildon.
The large presence is currently on the scene and has been for more than an hour now.
Alongside ambulances and fire engines, "specialist rescue" units and "technical rescue" units were also spotted on the scene.
At this stage, it is unknown what the emergency services are attending to, and what the incident is.
However, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment by the Echo.
