Lakeside Shopping Centre will host a free five-week Summer of Sports event, featuring a multitude of activities for both adults and children.
The event kicks off with a launch show, filled with dynamic performances from dancers, gymnasts, and freestylers on Monday with shows at 10.30am and 1pm.
Lakeside's Centre director, Howard Oldstein, said: "Lakeside Shopping Centre is thrilled to bring the community together for a fantastic Summer of Sports.
"With a diverse range of activities and expert freestylers, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
"We're excited to see kids and families having fun, learning new skills, and making lasting memories this summer."
Over five weeks, sports enthusiasts are offered a variety of sports workshops and arcade-style simulators available in the shopping centre.
From July 29 to August, it's all about the Basketball Extravaganza where attendees can test their shooting expertise and actively participate in an arcade-style interactive basketball hoop game.
Football Frenzy will take centre stage from August 5 to 9.
Freestylers will exhibit their exceptional skills and inspire those in the mall.
A football simulator will add further excitement for football fanatics.
The next week, August 12 to 16, features a mini golf adventure, where the nine-hole course will challenge and excite players of all ages.
A golf simulator will also be available for refining swings.
Table tennis thrills will follow from August 19 to 23, providing an opportunity for shoppers to take an active break and engage in a fun game of ping pong.
The final week concludes with BMX Adventures from August 26 to 30, where all can experience the thrill of BMX Flatland.
While waiting to enter Lakeside's Sports Arena, visitors can win £250 of sporting goodies by participating in Lakeside's Sports Trail.
A spokesperson for the programme said: "If you’re looking for a cool hangout spot, head to Lakeside’s Sports Village. Filled with awesome photo opportunities, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sporty vibes."
The Summer of Sport event will be taking place from Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm, in Lakeside's Sports Arena located on Level 1, between Pret a Manger and Lakeland.
