The Barclays community banking service has relocated to Canvey Library.
Operations run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between the times of 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 4pm.
Customers will have access to face-to-face assistance such as help with digital banking, financial analysis, balance checks, transfers, bill transactions, and other services.
However, the location doesn't accept cash, so regular banking processes will need to be conducted at the local Post Office instead.
Previously, the service was held at St Nich's church on Long Road, since the closure of their island branch last year.
Rebecca Harris, MP for Castle Point, said: "When the branch shut I lobbied their head office hard to provide a service for residents and businesses somewhere on Canvey.
"They said they would and I am pleased they are still honouring that commitment."
