A new ice cream parlour in Southend is now open following a £200,000 investment from Adventure Island bosses.
The Ice Cream Club welcomed its first customers on Saturday in Eastern Esplanade.
The new venue promises to "tantalise" taste buds with ice cream, waffles, pancakes, and "ice cream nachos".
Positioned next to fish and chip shop The Brittania, also owned by Philip Miller and the Stockvale Group, the new business is aiming to “capitalise on the long term potential” of the site.
A spokesman for Adventure Island said: "The wait is over. The Ice Cream Club is officially open.
"Join us every day from 12pm and indulge in delicious treats like ice cream with waffles, pancakes, and even ice cream nachos.
"Don’t forget that Adventure Island and Sealife Adventure Annual Pass holders get 20 per cent off all purchases. We look forward to seeing you there."
