POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses after a man was struck over the head with a glass bottle during a shocking pub attack.
Officers were called to the Four Seasons Pub, in Victoria Road, Laindon, at around 10pm on last Friday (August 2).
It was reported the victim, a man, had been struck over the head with a glass bottle.
The incident occurred inside the pub by the pool table.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We need anyone who may have been in the pub at the time, or anyone who may have information, to come forward.
