Emergency services have provided an update on a crash on the A127 in Southend this morning.
The A127 in Southend was closed westbound near Kent Elms after a crash left a car on its roof just before 7am this morning.
As a result, there were severe delays, with congestion back to the Tesco roundabout.
Emergency services have since provided an update and confirmed there were no injuries.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called just before 6.45am with reports of a road traffic collision on the A127 westbound involving two vehicles.
"An ambulance and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene. Two patients were assessed at the scene but no transportation to hospital was required."
A spokesman for Essex Police added: "We are on scene, awaiting recovery, no injuries."
