A major road in an Essex city is set to be closed for 24 hours to allow bridge repair works.
Waterhouse Lane in Chelmsford is closed to the public and will reopen on Sunday morning.
This is to allow bridge joint replacement work and waterproofing works, which also allows for the curing time of the joint material following the work.
The road is a busy entryway into Chelmsford, adjoining to London Road and passing through the city.
