A ROAD in Shoebury closed off for two weeks is among the new public notices this week.

Seaview Road has been been shut from its junction with West Road, with not parking, stopping, waiting, loading or unloading in place to its junction with Ness Road.

This closure has been in place since August 8 and will continue until 5pm on September 5 while Essex and Suffolk Water carries out main replacement works.

One-way traffic on Seaview Road has been suspended from its junction with West Road to Ness Road for resident access.


Another road in south Essex is closing for almost two weeks with no alternative route available.

Canewdon Gardens, in Runwell, will be closed on Sunday from its junction with Egbert Gardens for a distance of about 30m.

This closure will be in place for 12 days while new sewage connection works are undertaken.


Beverley Rise, in Billericay, is closing from its junction with Greens Farm Lane for five days while carriageway patching is carried out.

The closure will start on Monday, September 9, for the Essex County Council works.

No diversion route is available while this is in place.


A number of roads in Rayleigh are set to close today while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

Dorothy Farm Road, Albany Road, and Clarence Road will all be shut from their junctions with Grove Road.

The works may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Essential telecommunications maintenance is being carried out on Cottesmore Gardens in Leigh, from its junction with the A13 to Western Road.

 

While this is underway, the road is closed and drivers are banned from parking or waiting until Wednesday, August 28.

 

Drivers are being diverted via Thames Drive, London Road (A13), Western Road and vice versa.
