A section of a major road in Thundersley is set to close partially overnight next month for works by Anglian Water.
Rayleigh Road will be closed from its junction with Common Lane to its junction with Asquith Avenue - a distance of approximately 140m.
This closure will take place overnight on September 2, between 7pm to 11pm.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while inspection chamber cover replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Fairglen Interchange, Canvey Way, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, London Road, Bread and Cheese Hill, Kiln Road, London Road and vice versa.
