A 65-year-old man has been rushed to hospital suffering chest pains after an air ambulance landed in playing fields.
An ambulance service presence was seen around South Benfleet Playing Fields, with an air ambulance landing in the park at 3.30pm.
This was in response to reports of a 65-year-old man suffering chest pains, the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed.
While the air ambulance landed, the man was taken to Basildon Hospital by an ambulance vehicle.
