A CROSSING has been flooded and drivers are being forced to slow down amid a huge water leak in Basildon.
A pipe appears to have burst next to Miles Gray Road, near Pipps Hill Retail Park, this afternoon with water gushing across the road.
The crossing, between Pipps Hill and St Hilary's retail parks, has been left flooded as a result of the leak and drivers are being forced to slow down as they turn into the road from Cranes Farm Road.
The Essex and Suffolk Water website shows the leak has been reported and an urgent repair is underway.
Essex and Suffolk Water has been contacted for comment.
