POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young motorcyclist died at the scene of a crash in Essex.
Officers were called to reports of a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Crooked Mile, Waltham Abbey, at about 9.35pm on Tuesday.
Sadly, the rider died at the scene. She was 22 years old.
Detective Sergeant Alex Black, of Essex Police's serious collision investigation unit, said: “We are investigating this collision and would appeal to anyone with any information to contact us.
“We would particularly like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage.
“If you saw the motorbike before the collision or have any other information which you think could assist our investigation, get in touch."
