Two teenagers have been arrested after reports of an attempted motorbike theft in broad daylight at Lakeside retail park.
Police received a call reporting suspects were trying to steal a motorbike from the retail park near the Lakeside Shopping Centre shortly after 2.10pm last Tuesday.
They made off on a moped without being able to take the motorbike.
Officers have since arrested a 15-year-old and 16-year-old in connection with this incident, and they have been released on bail while our enquiries continue.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We still want to hear from anyone with dashcam footage in relation to this attempted theft.
"We know this retail park is busy and many motorists may have seen the suspects in the area at the time.
