Firefighters rescued a person from a car following a crash behind Basildon Station.
The crash, which involved two cars, happened in Station Way, Basildon at 8.54pm yesterday.
Firefighters arrived to find one person trapped and rescued them before putting them in the care of the ambulance service.
An Essex County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on Station Way, Basildon at 8:54pm yesterday.
“On arrival, crews reported two vehicles had collided and one person was trapped. Firefighters worked to rescue the person from their vehicle and they were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.”
