Castle Point Council has announced that part of Daws Heath Road will be temporarily closed to allow for tree-cutting works.
The closure will be for a period of five days, starting from 16 September.
The closure is necessary for the safety of the general public and workforce while Openreach undertakes tree cutting.
The council advises motorists to seek alternative routes during the closure.
A spokesman for Castle Point Council said: "There will be a road closure on Daws Heath Road, due to commence between September 16 and September 20."
