An appeal has been launched to identify a man in connection with a shoplifting investigation in Southend.
Essex Police are appealing to identify a man, who we want to speak with regarding an ongoing shoplifting investigation.
Officers are currently investigating a series of shoplifting offences, which have occurred at BP Service Station on West Street in Southend.
The offences have occurred between July 30 and August 9 with food and drink items totalling nearly £1000 stolen.
On one occasion on July 31, a man entered the service station and stole £137.80 worth of items.
Investigating officers are releasing an image of a man, who they would like to speak with in connection with this investigation.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "If you recognise this man or have any information which could assist with the investigation, please contact us.
"Please cite incident 42/121992/24."
