A KEY road in Wickford has been closed after reports of a "serious crash" this evening.
The A132 Nevendon Road has been closed to a "serious accident" between Nevendon and Cranfield Park Road, according to Essex County Council's traffic control alerts.

AA and Google maps show traffic is heavy in the area both ways between the A127 and the top of Golden Jubilee Way.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
