Two teenagers have been after a car failed to stop following a crash in Thundersley, Essex Police say.
Officers responded to a crash at approximately 1:30pm on September 16, on Kiln Road, Thundersley.
Essex Police reported that two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
They were detained on a bus whilst attempting to leave the area and arrested by officers from the Operational Support Group.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "Following a fail to stop road traffic incident around 1.30pm on September 16, on Kiln Road, Thundersley, two boys aged 16 and 17 have been arrested for theft of motor vehicle and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
"They were detained on a bus as they tried to leave the area and arrested by officers from our Operational Support Group.
"If you saw anything or have dash cam of the incident, please contact us quoting incident 0512 – 16/09."
