An air ambulance was sent to a street in Basildon after a person was found unresponsive.
Basildon residents were shocked to see an air ambulance around the Nazeing yesterday around 3pm, with ambulance crews calling an air ambulance to assist in reports of a person found unresponsive.
One person was taken to Basildon Hospital for further care.
A spokesman for East of England Air Ambulance said: "We were called at 3.07pm with reports that a person was unresponsive in The Nazeing, Basildon.
"We sent Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle.
"One person was taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further care."
