Ambulance crews have taken a person to hospital following a crash in North Shoebury Road that saw a large emergency service response.
The crash happened at 6.26pm with two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle sent to the scene near the Parsons Corner Roundabout.
A spokesman for East of England Ambulance Service: "We were called at 6.26pm yesterday with reports of a collision in North Shoebury Road, Shoebury.
"We sent two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle.
"One person was taken to Southend Hospital for further care."
