A major rod in Benfleet is set to be closed for nine nights of roadworks in November.
Castle Point Council has announced that High Road, Benfleet, will be closed from November 5 for nine nights as the road undergoes "machine patching" repair works.
The road will be closed between the hours of 8pm and 5am on the nights where work is taking place.
A spokesman for Castle Point Council said: "The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Essex County Council undertakes machine patching."
