Firefighters tackled a house fire in Hockley - started by a dishwasher.
The house fire broke out around 9.22pm on Friday September 20, with the fire starting in the kitchen due to a dishwasher.
Fire crews swiftly extinguished the fire and ventilated the property.
A spokesman for Essex Fire said: "Firefighters were called to an incident on Plumberow Avenue, Hockley at 9.22pm on Friday.
"On arrival crews confirmed that it was a fire in the kitchen which was caused by a dishwasher.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire by 9.40pm and ventilated the property."
