Police have arrested a man from Southend on suspicion of attempted GBH.
The man, 29, has since been released under investigation.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are no longer looking to locate A 29-year-old, who was wanted in connection with an ongoing attempted grievous bodily harm investigation.
"Yesterday, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. He has since been released under investigation."
