A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash in south Essex as the road remains closed.
Emergency services were called to Brock Hill, in Wickford, at around 8:08am following reports of a crash.
An ambulance and an air ambulance attended and a man was airlifted to The Royal London Hospital. His condition is unknown at this stage.
Brock Hill remains closed whilst emergency services continue to deal with the incident.
A spokesman for The East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.08am with reports of a collision in Brock Hill, Runwell.
"We sent East Anglian Air Ambulance, an ambulance and an ambulance officer vehicle.
"A man is being taken to The Royal London Hospital by air ambulance."
Essex Police has also been contacted for comment by the Echo.
