Police have issued an appeal for information and footage after a cyclist was left fighting for his life following a crash involving two cars in south Essex.
Officers were called by paramedics with reports of the serious crash in Brock Hill, Runwell at about 8.10am yesterday.
At the scene, police say they found a cyclist and two vehicles had collided and the cyclist had sustained life-threatening injuries.
He was airlifted to hospital.
The road was re-opened almost six hours later at around 1.35pm and Essex Police's investigation into the crash is ongoing.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "Now we are appealing for anyone who was driving in the area at the time to share any dashcam footage or information about this collision that may help our enquiries.
"Please get in touch quoting incident number 201 of Tuesday 1 October.
