Waterstones is set to make a long-awaited return to Basildon after more than a decade.
Book lovers have reason to celebrate as Waterstones has confirmed its return to the town with a brand-new store set to open in the Eastgate Shopping Centre.
This marks the bookseller’s comeback to Basildon after more than a decade, bringing an exciting new chapter for readers in the area.
The much-anticipated store is expected to open its doors by the end of April, offering a wide range of books across all genres, from children’s picture books to the latest non-fiction releases.
The new location in the popular Eastgate Centre was carefully chosen to ensure accessibility and convenience for the community.
Dave Sheldrake, retail manager at Waterstones, said, “We are absolutely delighted to be opening a bookshop in Basildon.
