A crisp flavour shoppers have "been waiting all year for" has returned to Aldi.

Aldi is already home to a wide range of own-brand crisps, including Thai Sweet Chilli, Roast Chicken & Tyme, and Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper.

The supermarket giant recently launched its Oktoberfest range for 2025, including three different crisp flavours:

  • German Beer
  • Currywurst
  • Bratwurst Sausage

One person, posting on the Facebook group Aldi UK Shoppers, said: "Been waiting all year for these to come back, soooo good."

Another added: "They are only available during Oktoberfest. I wish they sold them year round."

A third shopper commented: "What could be better? Beer flavour crisps!!!"

While this fan simply posted: "Yum yum!!!"

Aldi confirms return of discontinued crisps

Fans of Aldi crisps will also be pleased to know, a discontinued flavour will be returning to stores later this year.

Shoppers were left fuming earlier this year when Aldi confirmed its Specially Selected Prawn Cocktail Hand Cooked Crisps had also been discontinued.

This decision was made despite the popular Aldi snack being described as "addictive" and "The Best Crisps Ever" by fans (on Threads).

Discontinued UK chocolates and sweets

However, following significant public outcry, Aldi announced that it planned to bring back its Specially Selected Prawn Cocktail crisps later this year.

Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, Julie Ashfield, said: “We always do our best to listen and meet our customers’ requests.

"These crisps are clearly a fan favourite, so we are excited to bring the flavour back — watch this space”.

An exact date as to when the "addictive" crisps will return to UK stores is yet to be revealed.
